Fall Inspiration: 10 Delicious Pumpkin Chocolate Recipes

September 10, 2015 By Lauren

I know this has been said by pretty much everyone, but I’ve got to say it too: I LOVE fall.  Despite growing up in southern California, I am not a summer girl and hate pretty much everything about the heat.  I love a good day or so at the beach and love the freedom of summer, but nothing puts me in a worse mood than constant, muggy heat (just ask my husband…he can verify that I am an absolute delight to be around in high temperatures, especially while pregnant!).

That being said…fall is one of my favorite seasons.  Not only do I love the pretty rustic decor and all the other things everyone else loves about fall, I love that it means the transition into winter.  It’s such a sweet reminder that all things come in seasons, that hard seasons always fade into sweet seasons and vice versa.  For a million and one reasons, this Californian-turned Midwestern girl loves everything about the season from September to November.

Pumpkin Chocolate Recipes Fall Picture

Take me back to fall days like this from our first year of dating!

But maybe my favorite part of fall? Recipes that combine two of my favorite flavors in the whole world: pumpkin and chocolate.

If you’ve never tried this amazing combination, you are majorly missing out! I’m working on creating the formal recipe for my own twist on this combo using brownie mix, pumpkin, and espresso powder (I call them my pumpkin spice brownies!), but for now, you’ll just have to enjoy these amazing pumpkin chocolate recipes I’ve found while scouring Pinterest and Google to get some inspiration for my own fall baking.  Head over to the sites of these fabulous bloggers and tell them how amazing their recipes look.  And if you try them, make sure to report back on how they turned out!

I’ve been trying to hang onto summer, even though I love fall so much, but you’ve pushed me over the edge into crisp nights, colorful leaves and all things pumpkin. I usually have the ingredients for chocolaty pumpkin goodness in my pantry all season long. I guess I’d better stock up 🙂

These all look fabulous! The Chocolate Pumpkin Cheesecake looks delightful! Unfortunately, for some reason, I am intolerant to pumpkin. It sure does look yummy though. I love fall, and I am so excited for all my favorite fall recipes. I do love summer, but fall is such a cozy season. Anyway, I am stopping by for the first time. Hope you have an awesome week!
